Working with me is easy. I answer when you call. My response rate is measured in minutes or hours, not days or weeks. I protect my couples’ peace throughout the entire planning process, the wedding day, and beyond. The same goes for my fellow event professionals. No forms, no homework. You’ve got enough to do.

You can also count on my team and I to blend in as much as we can, which means dressing like guests, and respecting everyone’s experience at your wedding—not just yours. We capture your day with as little as possible to maintain the carefully curated experience designed for your guests. I will also never ask you to do anything you’re uncomfortable with, or that feels unnatural. Your film will be made possible by my becoming part of your day, rather than just observing it from afar.
Lastly, I believe marriage is a right that everyone is entitled to.

STYLE
Story story story. People people people. Always. Sure, I’ll get the glitz and pomp. It’s part of your day and it’s important to showcase the beautiful designs, fashion, etc., and it will all merge seamlessly with the organic moments between you and all of your favorite people. While each story is unique, something consistent throughout my work is the inclusion of your favorite people, and a story that is earnest, heartfelt, joyful, and fun.
A GREAT MOMENT > A GREAT SHOT
Big things are just lots of little things. Weddings are a good example of that. For every grand moment, there are dozens of equally beautiful quiet interactions between you and your guests. I aim to capture it all.
Your wedding will also be stunning, and it shouldn’t look completely different in your wedding film. Everything is captured true to color with professional digital cinema cameras, and B&W Super 8 (8mm film).
Sound design is also integral in my films. Clean dialogue, live music recordings, field recordings, and live sounds, all paired with music that matches your tastes and the tone of the day blend to create a truly immersive and bespoke experience.
PROCESS

Once I receive an inquiry, I’ll follow up as soon as possible (usually within minutes). From there, I like to meet with my couples or their planner. If it’s a good fit, and the quote is accepted, a contract will be provided and a reservation fee will be required to hold the date(s).

I will check in periodically and begin the process of gathering information about the day, location scouting, venue walkthroughs, and meetings with the team.

I personally film all of my weddings, and I have a set team as well, so you can count on me to be there for all of the fun!

After the wedding, I’ll follow up to let you know everything looks and sounds great, back everything up to the cloud, and personally edit your wedding film. I aim to deliver your entire collection within three months of your wedding.
ANALOG

In 2025, I felt a strong urge to resist the digitalization and AI-ification of everything around me. Like many others, I found myself being drawn to “real” things, or at least things that helped me immerse myself in the moment; that required more intentionality.
So I did what any sane person would do and started filming things with a 50 year old Super 8mm camera, taking 35mm photos, collecting and listening to records, and even purchasing and refurbishing—to functionality!—an old typewriter.
In an age of distractions, these simple items have helped to break the spell I felt I was under, and reminded me that I can slow down.
Starting in 2026, I made film a part of my offering. It’s not an extra. It’s just how I do things now. So, you can rest assured that Steven (my Super 8 camera; named by a 2025 bride) will be part of the team as well, and you’re welcome to take him for a spin if you’d like. All Super 8mm footage is shot on Kodak TRI-X B&W Reversal Film.
